Gary Faigin has a long and distinguished career as a fine art instructor who combines classical principles of fine art, Western art history, unique demonstrations and visually-comprehensive lectures into his studio teaching practice. Faigin taught for many years in the major art schools in Manhattan –Art Students League, National Academy of Design School of Art, Parsons School of Design, the School of Visual Concepts and New York Academy of Art.
In 1991, Faigin and his wife Pamela Belyea, moved to Seattle and together they co-founded the Gage Academy of Art with year-round traditional and contemporary programs in fine art for artists of all ages and levels of ability Faigin serves as Artistic Director and currently teaches a Still Life Atelier, workshops, lectures as well as guides art tours in the U.S. and Europe.
